The Specs: On Paper

Briefly comparing the technical specs, it's clear that Asetek Forte (B) has a slight edge over Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel (A). The Forte boasts 18Nm of torque, compared to the Pro's 11Nm. Additionally, both wheels have Direct Drive technology and standard quick release mechanisms. However, the Logitech Pro is compatible with PC/PS5/Xbox, while Asetek Forte only supports PC.

The Ugly Truth (Real User Experience)

I've seen users complain about a range of issues with both wheels. The Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel seems to have its share of problems. Users are reporting loud rattle caused by vibrations, which is not something you'd expect from a premium wheel. I've also heard stories of the wheel base being smaller than expected and the desk clamp/grip being rock solid but ultimately failing due to user error. The support team has been panned, with many users expressing frustration at their inability to resolve issues promptly. And then there are the outright failures - I've seen wheels break after just a few months of use, leaving owners stranded without any clear resolution from Logitech's customer support.

The Asetek Forte doesn't seem to have it much better. Users are reporting faulty power supplies that require replacement, and some even experienced the wheel shutting off completely when subjected to moderate forces (like hitting a bump). I've seen users praising the stiffness of the Forte once they got used to it, but there's an initial adjustment period before you can unlock its full potential.

The Verdict

Based on these experiences and technical specs, I'd say that Asetek Forte is a better choice for users looking for a budget-friendly option with slightly more torque. However, it seems to be plagued by issues like faulty power supplies and some users may experience a stiffer learning curve due to its higher torque output.

If you're willing to spend a premium price point (and I mean that), the Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel might offer better compatibility with your gaming setup. But be warned: it seems to have its own set of issues, and user support may not be as robust as some of us would like.
